Currently, the extensibility required for us to integrate properly with block-based checkout simply isn't there. In addition, WooCommerce's devs have indicated in GitHub threads that some of the restrictions preventing our proper integration are intentional and unlikely to change in the near-term if at all. As such, this feature is shelved until sufficient demand arises and/or the WooCommerce devs change their position.
